I'm going to be in Hyogo-ken -- beyond that I STILL haven't recieved any details. No word from my CO or predecessor. We'll have to meet up sometime...Fukui and Hyogo aren't that far apart. What group are you in for the Tokyo orientation?
-Mostly. Didn't care for it. Bunch of froo-froo artistic writing experiments...just give me a steak, a potato, a bottle of rum and Hemmingway. -I think i've seen it, but I can't remember... -If the grad school is in the interests of being able to teach on the university level, it's totally worth it. If it's just to have a doctorate in something purely theoretical and make people call you "Dr."...well...that's also pretty worth it. -Big yay. Best game EVER without poke' somewhere in the title. -Who? I'm old. I don't know these new young whipper-snapper bands. -Italy. Venice--Florence--Rome.
Hisashiburi Grad school- I'm going to do it, but wether or not you need it is of course debatable. I think it can only help Europe- you know me, Spain is fantastic.
I sent an e-mail out to m old employer sometime ago and he hasn't responded yet... :( I really really really need to get back to Japon
Nickel Creek is awesome and I have all their albums. I'm delaying Grad School, wanted a break and most people say that taking some time off in between is a good idea.
Also, you tell me when to be there and I'll try and get time off. There's nothing like the job I have now to make me want to travel. I'm actually planning to go skiing in December...or go to London.
I went to Berlin for a bit and that was an amazing experience. I got about 6 hours of sleep over three days because I was out at the clubs until closing most nights. I wanna go to England but have no experience with it yet.

Grad School: ...is it relevant for your future? One can't really comment on it without knowing that....
Europe: Ireland! (the only one I've been to, and I've got no complaints)
