I am ready to go home for a break too, and for all the same reasons! My floor doesn't like penis jokes! It is so hard when i hear something that brings out a comment along the lines of a less than proper joke. My floor is so conservative, and the peer pressure here is so backwards from the kind that you get warned against when you are younger. There is definitely a side that people here either do not see, or are completely floored when it comes out. I miss all my friends from home, and it sucks that I cannot see anyone 'til christmas time. Hang in there, at least you have been able to visit friends once or twice!

Yeah that's true (about being able to visit people). yeah i've been realizing more and more lately how conservative my school is as well, it's sooo bazaar!!! I miss you sally!

Hey, enjoy yourself. You are in college, which many say is the best time of your life. Or, if there's something about the place that really makes you feel lonely or depressed, quit or transfer. Life is too short to be sad and lonely. Cheer up. You're still a pretty, effervescent girl, with your whole life ahead of you.
