so i was reading people's posts, and a line of Katie S.'s really struck me. It's kinda a garden state moment, but it's really how you feel after your first year of college.

I'm coming home in less than a week. I don't know if it's bad that i'm not that excited.

dude... I was SO excited to come home... until my dorm room was empty and everything was in boxes and suitcases... and most of my friends were gone but I had to walk out and leave the couple that were remaining and drive away from manhattan and fly over columbia (flying from laguardia there's an awesome view of it) BUT you also were in CA at least for your college, I mean, I only came home once, over winter break, for less than 3 weeks and it rained the entire time.

ok, that comment got kind of out of hand, lengthwise... oh well.
