You shouldn't have to be 'used to' being dismissed OR degraded. You are a charming, friendly, talented young man and any fool who considers you somehow beneath his notice is in serious need of a reexamination of his own thoughts.

Unfortunately, I am not well equipped for encouraging reexamination of thoughts, but I am quite well equipped for the reexamination of the contents of a given brain. I expect this may be close enough for government work, since it sounds as though the individual in question does not appreciate the value of subtleties such as human decency or kindness. The Masamune works quite nicely as a skull opener.
