[She gives an odd look at being called that, but the woman was being polite so she wasn't too indignant.]

Er- my name's Coraline. [She replies with a nod.] And, yeah, I suppose I am. How about you? Been here long?

[She stopped walking to look over at Alice warily. Coraline didn't know how long she was watching her, but at the very least Alice answered her questions in a straightforward manner. Not that it made the truth any easier to take.]
