i was shocked yesterday when a good friend asked me how i was, and i told him i had painful period cramps, and he said "woah, too much info!". why is it too much info? becuase he didn't really want\to know how i was or because peroids are dirty nasty things that girls should be ashamed of and try their best to hide from the men folk? why should i ( Read more... )

well, next time he tells you anything like, shaving, using the toilet, farting, or football, then just go "euw! too much info!!"
that, or continue to tell him in greater and greater detail more of the joys of having the decorators in, surfing the crimson tide, jammin' the jam, on the blob. you know, amongst other terms LOL

and you know what - you're completely right here. i hear men all the time in their views that it is 'disgusting' or 'dirty'. Further still i have heard men make deragatory comments to other women saying "you have to buy your diapers." i hate that.

perhaps men should be better educated.

i am rolling my eyes.

it's not always the best of female experiences, but what separates us from them, is that this is representative of having the aility to CREATE life. That is amazing and beautiful and to me should be celebrated, even though I am aware that more often than not it is viewed as something that is cumbersome.

I welcome the chance to have a daughter in my future to teach her just that...and a son to be able to teach that appreciation to.
