I agree with you that as we get older the word IB doesn't mean anything. Yes it gave me a lot of credits, but it was good for only that period. It was worth it, because do you remember seeing how stupid the rest of the 2003 class was? I actually do recognize some things that I did in IB that we are doing now... so I guess IB was good for awhile, but it won't mean anything in 5 years.

It really won't matter in the long run in terms of titles, but I think that it helped a lot to teach me how to work and learn and analyze information. That isn't a tangible thing, and no one else will know or care that there is a connection between those skills and the "IB diploma". If you think about it though, every title that you have will mean less over time. It comes down to personal achievement in that you reached your goal and the value you assign to that title.

Yeah, it doesn't mean much anymore. It did shape the way we view the world and that's great, but the title of IB graduate means very little. In fact, most of what people work so hard for in life really means Very little after a few years.

Yup. Decided to join the trend this summer :-p

It really makes me glad that I work for more than titles and junk 'cause otherwise I wouldn't even try.
