2005 in a meme.

Dec 29, 2005 14:18

cat inspired me to do this survey. and since i'm doing my very bestest to NOT write my college app essays... well, here
What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before? Um, CHINA. And stopped caring about a lot of things. Mostly school.

Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I'm not really sure what my New Year's resolutions were. I have no idea.

Did anyone close to you give birth? Dunno.

Did anyone close to you die? My gramma and my grandpa. And, like Cat, Andrew Bedard, even tho I wasn't personally close to him.

What countries did you visit? China!

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? A complete lack of school. But that's not going to happen. So, a much better year than 2005, and the most excellent adventure of all time, mmk?

What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory? Something to do with China, I'm sure. Maybe the day we climbed that mountain, even tho I'm not sure what date that was. Or saying goodbye to Qin.

What was your biggest achievement of the year? Living through China, probably.

What was your biggest failure? Being an awful bitch for most of 2005.

Did you suffer illness or injury? Losing my voice for Crucible was roughroughrough.

What was the best thing you bought? Hahaa... probably my digital camera, just like Cat.

Whose behaviour merited celebration? My ridiculously talented friends. Really.

Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? Bush's. US government in general.

Where did most of your money go? Oh man. Getting ready for China drained it. And... life. I have no idea. But it's pretty well gone.

What did you get really, really, really excited about? China. And the LAMBDA dances.

What song/album will always remind you of 2005? My Humps. Definitely.

Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder? Happy that it's over. 2005 was pretty awful.
thinner or fatter? About the same.
richer or poorer? Richer.

What do you wish you’d done more of? Been really happy.

What do you wish you’d done less of? Worried so much about school, etc.

How will you be spending Christmas? It was with my family. At home.

Did you fall in love in 2005? Nope.

How many one night stands in this last year? 0

What was your favourite TV program? O.C. Soooo much O.C. this year.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Oh sure. I have a neverending supply of people to hate. Convenient that way.

What was the best book(s) you read? Oh ya, definitely the sixth Harry Potter.

What was your greatest musical discovery? JAMES BLUNT

What did you want and get? Um, I got to go to China. I got out of Greenough all summer.

What did you want and not get? I'm not sure. I got a lot of really good things.

What were your favorite films of this year? RENT. And Igby Goes Down, even tho it didn't come out in 2004.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? My 18th. Me and Nico and Jeff partied it up white trash style. It was a pretty good one. And a pretty ridiculous one.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? NOT having to go to school. Mmm... so much more satisfying that way.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? Haha... mine's about like Cat's... LEX, I think is what it's called.

What kept you sane? Drama. And my friends. So much my friends.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I'm in love with James Blunt. And Jay Chou.

What political issue stirred you the most? Yup, probably the ban on gay marriage in MT. At the same time we legalized medical marijuana, I'd like to remind you.

Who did you miss? Especially today, the Brits and Robbie and company. (;

Who was the best new person you met? Um, I don't know. I have no idea.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005. Don't worry toooooo much. It all works out eventually.

Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. I have no idea. So, I'll add another question to make up for it:

What are you most excited for in 2006? GRADUATING. And starting on my year off trip/mission/fabulousness. Being on my own, basically.

is.

So. There you go. This year in a nutshell.

Everyone should check out the truely fabulous photo of Wes on the cover of the Entertainer. Anyone in the Missoula area should come see him. Wilma. Eight. They get points for audience response, so go NUTS.

I had the best dream ever, in a creepy sort of way, but I'm kind of tired of typing, so I'll get back to you on that one.
