I want to go bum around Europe right now... hah!

guess what, we're having a heat wave. or, as you probably know it, a summer.

the fact that you said (ok, wrote) "as you do, I guess." makes me randomly really happy - that's one of my current phrases.

this random comment will now come to an end!

I think everyone needs more time to bum around. Bumming around Europe is just better than bumming around... most other places.

Seriously, your summer heat can't be beating mine. It's 102 fucking degrees outside, and as you can tell, that's just too much for me. I mean, things just spontaneously light on fire when it's that hot.

And hey, already-in-Basel-buddy, anything I should (must? absolutely times a hundred?) bring with me?

Ooooh! You get to leave so very soon now! It's so exciting. My time as an au pair is almost over now :( but I am going to be staying in Geneva as a student. Yea me!

Hope your traveling goes well and maybe we can plan some trips??

btw...will this be your first trip to Europe?

It's so cool that you liked it over there enough to stay. We have to plan some trips, I can't wait to travel around. I've never been to Europe before, but I have traveled around Asia little and I'm so ready to see Europe.

Soo... anything I should definitely bring with me? Anything you wish you would've brought?

Hope this isn't too late for you, but there are some things that I thought of...that you might want to get your hands on before you leave! :)

I wish that I had brought more tampons/pads, razor blades and film for my camera(I still don't have a digital) because it's crazy expensive here. Maybe that's just Geneva...but if you have room to bring that stuff...it's an idea!

It's always good to bag extra pain meds. I love my Tylenol and can't get it here. And my deodorant, too. Often brands are different...so if you have favorites and don't like to try and find 'new' ones...it's a good idea.

Hope that helps you a bit. Those are some things that I wish people had told me before I left for Europe. Now, when I go home every year...I stock up!

Also hope that your packing and planning is going well!! What an adventure you are about to have.... :)

She appears to be attatched to her bisexual-escaped-mental-patient-homeless man (we've shortened it to The Transient. Except I tend to get confused and call him The Transvestite.). So attatched that she blew him in the movie theatre bathroom. Which really SCREAMS class, as far as I'm conscerned.

WRITE ME NOW. I leave SOON. And WANT my LETTER. SGJIKDFSKJ!

I also fully expect you to continue writing me in far-off Basel land. I'll give you the address before I leave.
