Okay, so there's a Johnny's iphone app! But the question is: JWEBS, HOW DO THEY FUCKING WORK?
Look no further for the answer!
It's actually quite easy, but I put together a little tutorial because...I was kind of bored. Anyway. Here goes~
edit: To clarify, your selection of your favorite artist just means you'll see their picture on the app front page. Registering once gets you access to jwebs for every group!
edit: thanks to fuyukoi, who capped the credit card info screens, plus the survey at the end.
You can use an international card, as long as it's a Visa or Mastercard.
What comes next is a survey. You can just skip all of the questions and it'll still go through, but I've translated it in case you're curious.
女性 if you're female, 男性 if you're male. I can't remember what the options were for how you found out about the app, sorry!
So, again, those questions are totally optional and you can feel free to skip them! After this it will prompt you to download the app, which you can do if you haven't already. If you have, you can just open it up and you're good to go!
Now, here's how you log in to the app:
The fee is 315 yen per month, for access to everything.
Voila! You can has jwebs! :D
This should also work for Android phones! Unfortunately, it seems you can't sign up using an ipod touch, but if you sign up using another smartphone, the app will work on the ipod touch.
If you're having trouble getting it to accept your credit card, you may want to contact your card company to make sure they're not blocking the transaction because it's coming from overseas. Hopefully that will solve the problems some people have been having :)
