This week won't end

Apr 09, 2008 08:20

I'm thinking about getting Super Smash Brothers for the Wii, but I want to play online probably and I won't be good enough and I won't know anyone and I still haven't beaten Zelda. Plus I wanted to rent it first and Blockbuster is always out of it.

So yeah... school go-eth. Work go-eth. Life plug-eth along.

Popcorn is good.

You know I've got Smash Bros., and online works for me if you want to try it out sometime. tbcraig just got it this past week, but I don't think he's tried it online yet. marsapollo has it but he was having router/firewall issues last time we tried to play online.

I haven't beaten Zelda: Twilight Princess either. I think it's ironic that when I was in school, I had all sorts of time but a limited video game budget. Now that I'm +jobbed, I have a larger budget and limited time. I think that's why my DS and pick-up-and-play games like Guitar Hero, Tiger Woods Golf, and Smash Bros. are more appealing to me now than the old standbys like Zelda and Metroid.

Even I like Brawl, and I'm not big on any of the more current gaming systems. :)

Brawl is fun, but playing online is pretty much a necessity. Don't worry about not being good enough, the learning curve is pretty low (I got decent playing for a couple hours with some friends one night).

oh, I forgot to say - it's easier with a regular control, as opposed to the Wii-mote
