Hohoho. I related with each of your last three, points, and each made me want to reply.

First, reading that thing about Koufax made me happy, because I also saw them and I don't think I would have liked them nearly as much, Come Back to Life specifically, had I not heard it live first.

Second, when is Ben Folds coming!!??!! I have also been waiting many years to see that man, and I can't believe I effing missed him and Rufus Wainwright at the Metro for 20 bucks!! But when is he coming here?!

Third, you should rock the minidisc, as I do. Awesome Japanese Product Numba 1!! Actually, it's hard to figure out and sometimes even harder to use, but it's got a sweet personality to it that I love too much.

Heck yes, May 3rd. It seems as if it's still available, too, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I might go today with Nick to get Mars Volta tickets, so I might get them there, or order them online. But I am going mos def no doubt fo-twenny badass.

Minidisc is terrible!!

But the Mars Volta isn't. I hope the ticket doesn't come out to like a trillion dollars because there are so many good shows coming up.

Aww so much ripping on the Minidisc. It seriously isn't nearly as bad as:
a) People make it out to be
b) As it used to be

It's gotten ridiculously better, it's got a beautiful build quality, it comes with an amazing remote, and it I can store 45 hours on one disc now. The software is ridiculously improved, and is completely stable, and it works soooo well for specific types of people. It's really the perfect combination of CD player and iPod, which I dig a lot. And I really seriously love the personality of it, it just clicks with me. And starting next generation there will be a drag-and-drop interface and native support for mp3s, with no lengthy converting needed.

And it friggin looks like this: http://www.minidisc.org/images/Sony_MZRH10.jpg

Lol, sorry for the semi-rant, but I love me minidisc, and it really does get a terrible rap that it doesn't deserve anymore.

is Koufax still a band? I think the last time I saw them it was supposed to be their last show. I saw them a few times, catchy tunes.

I bought a Rio Carbon. :)

It's still a HDD, just a much smaller sturdier one than the bigger ones in say, the iPod. I kinda want to try the mini iPod too tho.
