I loved the way you had Alex deal with Blunt. Very original; or at least i've never seen it before, and rather ingenius as well in fact :P
Tense, angsty, but Alex persevered at the end, so it was the perfect mix.

Holy hell, Alex has become one über-scary person... but I like it! The opening scene with Ian coming back and actually explaining his "death" to Alex after two years [of his nephew suffering under Blunt's thumb] is something I'd never even thought of or seen coming a mile away--it made for a very fascinating interaction between those two. And as if Alex wasn't already scary enough, what he turns into when he finds out the truth about Jack's death is just... wow. Monster-psycho-crazy, that's all I can think of, and Blunt's punishment, good God! Gruesome and yet so fitting, given Alex's mental state. Awesomely dark, bordering on horrific (in a good way)! Fantastic job!

Alex coming apart ... So sad and yet so fitting with his character that he finally can't take any more and snaps. It hurt me more *for* Alex than anything else. He's the victim, regardless of how psychotically terrifying he's become. Alone, as always. Alex.
