I did this when I turned 22 and somehow missed it last year. I rather like the idea, so I thought it was a good time to bring it back.

23, by the numbers

2 - the number of times I dislocated my right shoulder

103.5 - the number of flight hours I accrued

38 - the number of books I read (this always seems painfully small)

400 - the amount of dollars

Wow, I had no idea Jake had gotten fat! I remember when he used to train you.... which couldn't have been that long ago cuz, you know, I've only known you for.... yikes--longer than I realized.... but still.... OK, nemind...

Happy Birthday--again. Is there such a thing as saying HB to someone too many times or in too many places? I think not.... :)

yeah...once jake didn't have my insane intensity to push him, he kinda fell apart, especially in pilot training. but it is a credit to his amazing talent as an athlete that after about two months of training he's very close to my level again. haha, what i would give for those kind of genes. hopefully, he'll have abs for the first time since high school after another month or two.

Excellent! Nice big improvement from the last one, right? You really ought to put all this to use on water, dude.... I mean, erging is the torture rowers go through in the off season (along with tanks) to train--and in season to quality for their seats in the boat; it's supposed to be a means to an end, not an end in itself. Water!! That's when it gets fun....

This year's b-day assortment was flaky, I realize.... but when things beckon to me, whispering your name, I don't question-I just go with it. And I figure you'll always "get" whatever message/giggle needs to be gotten.... :)
