I like Mrs. ver Batim. I also had to laugh at "Mrs. ver Batim has decided she has had it with… I mean, she is still not feeling well enough to teach." That sounds like my kid's teacher last year. He was out SO often, and my husband and I would just joke, "Yeah, he's sick.. sick of teaching!" Funnily enough, that turned out to be true, and he left teaching all together at the end of the year. It's not for everyone, that's for sure.

I'm glad you'll have a community and prompts and deadlines and feedback to look forward to. hopefully it'll all be a good distraction from chemoradiation treatments. I wish you the best of luck in this process - I have known many to have to go through this kind of cancer pathway and it sucks. I'm sorry it's happening to you! I look forward to your entries.
