The first one last summer ended up being immediately after school was out and when a fight broke out between two fourth graders (?) in the beach volleyball sandpit, I jumped up to break it up. Naturally, the sandpit was ringed by other parents and while enroute to the brawl I wondered why the parents of the fighters weren't getting involved. Then I realized that a) I was still in teacher mode and b) hey, it's a playground fight, these things happen.
I broke it up anyway, though.

Whenever I see a man playing with his children, or comforting them, or being silly with them, or just... wanting them to be happy, I literally get teary-eyed. There's something so special these days in seeing a genuinely great father.
Congratulations on being that.
Also, it doesn't matter what happens, women get catty about anything, especially their children.
