i found your journal through 'allthingsholga' and i love your posts. i've had my holga for six months now and i've shot two rolls of 120, but i haven't taken them to get developed. i'm actually sort of clue less on where i should go. i've seen people post comments about taking it to a pro lab, so i guess that's where i should go but it's really weird - i think i'm intimidated by my holga! my plastic boxy holga! i'm a weirdo. i'm so used to shooting 35mm and digital. i need help and you seem like the perfect person to ask. i hope you don't mind my long rambling note and i'm adding you to my friends list as well. :)

Now. Here is what you do. Call around and ask if a shop will develop 120 on site. PRO-lab sounds imitating, but it really isn't. Pros aren't all that. They think they know a lot, but in truth, the just get paid for knowing the things you know. They look like any other shop. The pro-lab is good because they don't send your film out, which means you get it back faster, and there is MUCH less chance of losing it.
Don't be afraid of the Holga. The more you mess up, the better stuff you'll get. We are all weirdos, which is why we shoot Holgas!!! Now get that film in!!! Post some stuff!!!
