So today, after I accepted this job with the school to teach, my boss at BHHC calls - after knowing about this prospect since I was in the interview process - and to whom I gave my resignation two weeks ago....finally counter-offers

Go Sarah! I am glad you found a job. I am sure you will have lots of fun and driving two hours each day will not be too bad. You can listen to your fave music..... You made the right decision. I hope I can come visit you in September. I am trying to get a ticket soon.
