Hi. Late commenter/joiner-of-the-community is SUPER FREAKING LATE. But seen as how all I've done in the past few days of finding this community is lurk like the creepiest lurker there is, I figured I should start at least leaving feedback. And I couldn't have picked a better story to start with. Your character portrayals were beautiful; I know it's a really cliche thing to psycho-analyse the joker and his past, but you were wonderful - not too sentimental, it could have fit right into canon. And I love how real it all feels, that's always a mark of a truly great fic. In short, I love this, I love YOU and if you ever got round to writing a sequel I'd be the happiest person ever if you could send me the link :)

Oh it's been years since I saw this, logged onto LJ for the first time in years and randomly stumbled across it again via a link in an old message then took a quick look at the story and it all came flooding back. Also took a peak at the beginning and ending to check it was the right story and yep. They were both brilliant scenes, the whole story is. All that emotion. <3

Bookmarking on AO3 for future reference. <3

Edit: Apparently I read this around 8 years ago and I still remember it after a quick refresh. XD :)

Wow! Omg. First your comment made me realize that I still have a live journal account. Hahaha! Second thanks so much for the sweet words about my fic. It really was a labor of love and I had so much fun writing it.
