Because I like seeing how things are made (I still have fond memories of touring the bread factory as a Brownie Scout), I thought it would be fun to share a few photos of the jacket-in-progress. In no particular order, these are a couple of details as I went along.

hey honey, it looks really great. i admire your tenacity and courage in taking on something as insane as a galliano. all your stitching looks really good - that stuff must have been a bitch to sew on. i say, wear it everywhere all the time! :)

Thanks! Several of my friends (who have been waiting impatiently for me to finish) saw the finished jacket and said, "Now we have to plan a big night out so you can show it off!" ;)

where on that website did you find the pattern.
I couldn't find it when I went looking..

It's in the "Projects" section I believe...the website isn't very well organized and they keep rearranging things, so you have to search around a bit. Think of it as a treasure hunt. ;)

Thanks! Sewing this jacket was pretty scary at times, what with all the leaps of faith that these random shapes would turn into an actual garment at the end. :)
