You are not scared of him. You are not. Parker knocks on the door, not seeing Janine or Niccolo around to stop her. "Principal Bristow?" She holds a small package, and is turning it back and forth.

"Ms. Parker. Come in."

"I just have a, um," Parker forced herself to stand straight, and hand over the gift. "A small holiday thank-you present. For all you've done this semester, but especially dealing with Michael Samuelle. I'm sure whoever the new principal is, he won't be--" half as scary "--as on top of things as you were, sir." Then she grinned. "Oh, and I had to say thanks for the pageant. Best early present ever, some of the pictures I got during that."

Bristow accepted the present. "Thank you. However, Mr. Samuelle's deletion from the island was business. I trust that you haven't spoken to anyone about that meeting."

Angel's appointment notstakedyet December 21 2005, 20:00:10 UTC
Angel stops by for his meeting with Bristow. Sean is with him. The puppy is on his leash and is wearing a puppy-sized Santa hat.

Outside of the office, Angel squats down to address Sean. "Okay, Daddy's got to go talk to the principal right now. Think you can be a good boy and sit until I get back?"

Because, of course, putting Bristow and a puppy wearing a Santa hat in the same room just had to create a disturbance in the Force. Angel wasn't going to be responsible for that happening.

"Angel, please come in." No, Angel didn't knock. Yes, Bristow is really that good.

Angel did not surreptiously check for the hidden cameras. He did, however, open Bristow's door.

Then he remembered that puppies were more likely to stay in one spot if they had a little help.

"Um - just a sec," Angel said. He took Sean's leash and started to tie to to the arm of a chair.

The corners of Bristow's mouth quirked upward in a way that, for once, completely lacked malice. "That is a fine looking dog, Angel."

She steps inside, and puts a package on his desk. "Hi. I got these for the pageant sur- erm, participants, and since you were kind of in it and made me dance, there's yours. Oh, and this."

She places a bell on top of the package. "It fell off the costume. Thought I should return it."

"Thank you, Ms. Tyler. This was quite thoughtful." He looks regretful for 0.00001 seconds. "Have a good life, Jaye. Try not to talk to yourself as much. And stay away from illicit drugs."

At some point during the day, Veronica swings by the Principal's office. She's got a plate of homemade cookies with her when she knocks on the door.

Veronica walks in and hands over the plate of cookies.

"I just wanted to tell you goodbye and good luck, sir. And give you some holiday cookies."
