I just added you. I don;t remember butting heads with you, or much else to be honest, but if we did that's okay. I don't have to agree with everything my friends say.

Hello, longtime no quietly-read-and-generally-respect-what-you-have-to-say! Not sure you'd have any reason to remember me; my net's been down for over a year and in any case I was previously more of a lurker than an active presence on the purg (by which i suppose i mean the purgatorium, since the former now seems to signify a new community under the thumb of a self-styled tszarina :S). In any case, having checked the new place out and had similar reservations to yours (I believe sock puppets were mentioned), I came looking for Frieda and found you as well. Based on my memories of your posts being refreshingly lucid and the fact that Flaming June was always one of my favourite paintings I'm going to add you as a friend. Hope that's alright. If not just let me know and I'll undo it, otherwise feel free to add me back; my journal is characteristically verbose and I don't really expect my friends to read it, but sometimes I like to add people who remind me that there remains some refuge for sanity online :)

I do rememeber you and I've missed your presence. I'm adding you back right now.

Tzarina created the new purg the day purg_chic closed down the old one. She made me a mod before I even found the sight, and I'm more or less running the site now. I say more or less because the site does a pretty good job of running itself.

It's nice to see you again.

cheers :) the purg you describe sounds quite approachable; think i'll have another look - when I checked it out recently(ish) everyone seemed rather on edge but possibly that was just sypmtomatic of its newness - always takes a little time to iron out points of contention when you're trying to establish a shared ethos for the first time. Assuming (which I'm pretty sure I can) that ethos isn't so appealing to faerie-worshipping pr0-AnA tip-seekers as to catapult them into the majority, it'll be nice to catch up with everyone.
