we're in the US and i keep wanting to make an entry about it because its wonderful and i want to document everything that i experience, but then i think yeah but who's going to read it? i havent written much of anything in the past year and i dont even know if anyone still has me friended ( Read more... )

I still read!! and I especially love reading travel stories about places i've never been.. gives me ideas and inspiration to travel again!
And to see how easy/hard it is to live/work overseas.

I also know exactly what it's like to move to a new place and not know anyone...

i'll try not to sound so biased and in love with it. i think my view is twisted because Dennis is trying really hard to show me a good time here and expose me only to the wonderful things. maybe i should escape one day and see the hidden depths of it all to form a real opinion.

I read yours, even though I don't know you ;-) I also totally understand your hermittiness and isolation- in the past year or so I have definitely been pulling away from my friends and I know for a fact that I've lost a few for good, especially my male friends. It just feels awkward telling my boyfriend that I'm going to go out with X tonight...without him. It's a weird feeling.

I'm still reading as well - just to let you know! haven't posted much myself lately either, and I do identify with everything you say, apart from the moving to America part - how is it all going over there?

:))i'm glad that you're still reading and its really nice to hear that someone identifies. i always worry what people will think even though its silly. America is honestly great, and you should visit at some point. everyone should.
