You know what’s annoying? When you download a REALLY awesome sc4 terrain file (whatever it’s called), and you make a new neighborhood with it. The problem is, whoever made it used trees in sim city 4, so when you place in it in the game, there are trees EVERYWHERE. Like a shitload of trees. Like hundreds and hundreds of trees bundled together and ( Read more... )

For some reason, the mental picture of a terrain completely covered in trees sent me into fits of giggles ^-^ Behehehe..

That would be frustrating. :( Good luck with the 'deforestation' :P

What's even crazier is that one time there were a bunch of those little lake-thingies that came with AL and those tree stumps that came with BV EVERYWHERE. It was so weird.

Funny, I just bought a copy of Sim City 4 (well it was a box set that had five SimCity games for 19 dollars, including the newest ones) because I want to make an edit of the Strangetown map with more roads to set up my Legacy neighborhood.

Thanks for letting me know that it's not a good idea to add trees at SC4. I definitely do not want to spend hours erasing a billion trees (or cactus) in Strangetown V2.0 :P!

It's crazy. I'm not sure if it's with later EPs or what, but yeah, I think it's best to not include trees. :D

I know this is an old post and everything, but Mootilda's HoodReplace can take that neighbourhood and delete all the trees for you with one click and not tamper with anything else to do with the hood! http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=279992

I figure that will help.... I hated deleting trees too.

Thank you, kind anonymous! ^___^
I've had to avoid some nice terrains because of that, but I'm glad there's a solution.
