I hate pets. (the ep, I mean!)

Now I remember the reason I never wanted to install the Pets EP. It totally sucks, aside from the cute wittle pets your sims can have, I guess. But aside from that, it blows. The furniture blows. The lack of a stray-away pet prevention system blows. Yesterday I was playing and the game generates a wolf, I guess. I lock the doors to disallow pets ( Read more... )

Totally agree

Furniture = sucks, who uses spacey stuff anyways?

Strays= absolutely awful. Even if you turn off free will your sims will STILL interact with them, makes staging stuff so much more annoying.

I know! I wouldn't even use them in my kids rooms. They could've given us much better stuff. ):

I have the nostrays hack, but the wolves still keep coming. -___-;

OMFG, THE WOLVES. They just waltz into everyone's house like they own the fucking place. Then they destroy the furniture. Then the bitches go and dig up the yard. Then they just leave.

I only have the EP because my parents got it for me when I first got the game. That, and I like the AL spectral kitties.

I have no idea who was responsible for coming up with that idea, but damn, what the hell were they thinking?! And then they just growl and bark at your sims. D<

I haven't tried that yet, but I do love the kittens. :D

Have you tried locking your sims doors? I did that and it worked, they just bark at your door a lot

It probably does work, but I keep forgetting to lock them to keep the pets out as well as the stray townies.

I love the furniture and I love spacey inspired stuff. I can't stand the pets however and my Sins rarely own one.

Well, it's not too bad, but it's kind of hard to mix with other stuff. For me, at least. :P I do like a couple of the windows they have, but I don't really use the furniture in my game often.

My sims rarely have them either. I might try them out, because the kids keep rolling so many obnoxious wants! |:

The only thing I don't like about the EP is how much attention it seems that the pets need to have. One of my houses has three dogs (two adults and one puppy), and it seems like the dogs are always bugging my Sims.

Otherwise, I'm in the minority, I think, when I say that I actually quite like it. xD

Well, I do like it, but with the animals INVADING MY HOME, it was hard to enjoy it.

8D BUT IT'S FIXED NOW.

Have you tried the "no strays allowed" sign or fire hydrant from Simslice? They are both pay, but are available at the Booty. They do the same thing, just different meshes.
The hydrant-

or the sign-

There's also a sign at Simlogical-

I've used all of them before and they all worked for me.

Forgot to give you a link to the original page of the Simslice objects, so you can read the description-
