Oh, hello!

Jun 19, 2005 01:06

I ask that you forgive me for being late. It seems that my assignment from Ostia has taken... Quite a bit longer than expected. It is always a good thing to make sure that the King of Bern has been a good boy once in awhile ( Read more... )

Matthew, eh? I remember you. You liked to question me and forget the 'former' part of 'former Black Fang'. Still alive and well, I see. And presumably not a double, either. What luck.

Wait, you were in Bern? You didn't happen to see me in Bern, did you?

Ah, Legault. I didn't expect to speak with you so soon! The Black Fang fell, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore whether you are a part of it.

And I didn't have the misfortune to stumble into you on my sightseeing trip. That would have been quite embarassing, and might've blown my, or rather our cover if you were spying as well. Then again, I returned late, and I quickly learned that you were living the life at Caelin while I was surveying what was going on, so of course that doesn't matter either it seems!

Believe me, Matthew, you certainly don't want to run into me in Bern. You see, it's not actually me who is in Bern...I have one of those doubles. He looks just like me but acts rather like a washed-up loser to be brutally honest. And he's completely obssessed with Heath...

I... See... I am very overjoyed that I didn't have the misfortunate to stumble upon your double, then.

Oh, so you did find it. Good.

How was Bern, Matthew?

[Speaks in a way so that only Hector can hear]

It was quite a grand castle, for sure. Their wyverns are well equipped and their soldiers well trained and in numbers. It seems like something might happen in the future, but we'll save those concerns for later.

I'm sure you'll appreciate this 'souvenier' I 'recieved' as a 'gift' from Bern. It's some of their finest bread, sprinkled with garlic and melted with cheese made from cows living on the greenest pastures.

The original Sir Lucius, I presume? I've been doing fine, as long as I don't tread too far into the quicksand, of course.

Yes, this is the real Lucius...I presume you've seen the psychotic version of me running around?

Yes. He was quite... Girly. He made Serra look respectible and quiet, and that was quite a feat.
