Wednesday: 8-hour drive to Vegas. Yawn. Anyway, after that, we went into the hotel and just got set up in there, and also took a nap. Then we saw Penn & Teller, and they're basically the best duo since God and Jesus. Hilarious, inspiring, all-around amazing ( Read more... )

The Pillows. Kick. Ass. If you like J-rock like you say you do, LISTEN TO THEM NOW! I reccomend Crazy Sunshine, Instant Music, Last Dinosaur (best song imo), and Skeleton Liar. Gendou's the place to go (it's still up, right? I assume you know of it).

And yes, I am very sad I couldn't see Spamalot.

We stayed at the Westin, btw. Only (?) hotel in Vegas that allows dogs.

I could have seen Spamalot. In LONDON! But we couldn't get discount tickets (we're cheap like that). What I really wanted to see was Equus, partly because of morbid fascination, partly because that was probably my only chance to see Equus WITH Daniel Radclif, and mostly because I wanted to laugh at Daniel Radclif, because we all know, as hard as he tries to be a serious actor, he's never going to rise about Harry Potter.
