Halves

I dress in your clothes
I pose for your photos
I follow you round,
I leave you alone.

I love you forever
I protect you from us
I'm watching you sideways,
I sign you a name.

I read all your books
I call your cat ugly
I hear your heart beating,
I sleep in your bed.

We're nothing together
We're attached at the hip
We're sisters somehow,
We're sisters somehow.

The last two lines of this poem hit me hard, because at first I didn't understand what kind of relationship was being written about, but then it was just so blatantly obvious after re-reading it. And that's not a bad thing at all. Having a sister myself, who I feel I share a similar relationship with (sharing clothes and sleeping in her bed), I really enjoyed this poem. I feel like going and giving her a hug now :) good job!
Take care,
Brianna.

Well, I am bloody glad to have incited happy sisterly feelings. Quite proud of self now (esp. since this was a five minute type job - no sh*t, Sherlock)
YAY HOLIDAYS!
Sorry, couldn't help self.

Hi angela,
This was a very intereting poem. At first I could not see where it was going, but I really liked the end of it. I thought for a moment that you may have been talking about your boyfriend or maybe even another side of yourself. Or maybe im just losing it. Who knows.
