Our DVR died this week. We lost everything too. So annoying, but at least the new box was free.

yay you, handling stuff and being all kick-ass mama! I worried a bit about Laz last year when he started kindergarten, but he had a phenomenal teacher and, overall, it went well. First grade is NOT going well so far, though, and I know I'm going to have to do something soon. I'm considering home-schooling but will try to work with the school first, since he's officially a special-ed kid; I think because he's so high-functioning (above average intellectually, and behaviorally just kind of awkward and dreamy), they've kind of ignored him. Anyhoo, I hope Elliot has a good time and adapts well! And I hope you all have a great weekend!
