Dear Hughes,
Who do you live for when everyone you love keeps leaving?
Signed, Lonely
Dear Lonely,
People come and go, it's just a fact of life. We can't all stay on the same path forever, but we can always hope that our paths will cross again. So who do you live for? You live for yourself and you live for that chance that you will encounter your loved ones again, or maybe even encounter new people who you will come to love.

Dear Hughes,
I'm in love with my best friend. I know it's wrong to keep things from your best friend, but this is one thing I can't possibly tell them. What should I do?
Signed, More Than Friends
Dear More Than Friends,
Hmm, this is a tough situation. I would suggest weighing the pros and cons of the situation. Telling a friend you love them can cause a big change in the dynamic between you. You need to think about if you are ready for that to change. Of course, you can always try to keep it a secret, but that can cause even more problems than actually telling the person. Just go with your heart and make sure to keep their feelings in mind. I hope that helps...and whatever you decide, best of luck!

Dear Hughes,
What is the best method to stop a heathen? I have tried cupcakes, blessed fruit punch, rooftop attacks, and spaghetti sauce. None of produced results.
Signed, Heathen Stopper
Dear Heathen Stopper,
I'm not exactly an expert on stopping heathens. I wish I could help but you're going to have to get advice somewhere else.

Dear Hughes,
I'm a student that's thirsting for knowledge! How does one gain access to the restricted section of the library?
- Budding Scholar
Dear Budding Scholar,
That's very simple. You get written permission from a Professor that you need information found only in the restricted section. I believe permission forms can be found in the library. When you get it signed you present it to the librarian and I'm sure she'll be more than happy to help you find the book you need there.

Dear Hughes,
I think I'm falling for two different people at once. Both of them are close friends. What the hell do I do?
Signed,
Can't Doctor a Love Life
Dear Can't Doctor a Love Life,
Two? Well I'm not sure I can recommend attempting a three-sided relationship (I mean you COULD try, but only if your friends would be into that too. Plus it could get VERY complicated). Of course, I know it's pretty impossible to pick one person over the other. As I suggested for More Than Friends, you really need to weigh the pros and cons of confessing to them or expressing your feelings. You also need to think about your own feelings. Can you see yourself with one person more than the other when it comes to a relationship? How do you think they feel about you? Hope that helps in some way.
Signed, Hughes
I really enjoyed reading all of these. I hope to see more from you guys next week!
