I can't speak for the rest of you... but personally I found my time as a child enjoyable~! I was such a little troublemaker, always getting into things while trying to figure out how everything worked.
Ah~
Things have changed so much since then, haven't they? [Not really, no. Possibly it's meant to be taken as a joke] It wasn't always easy being a child prodigy~. [Not joking about the child prodigy bit] Do try to see the positive aspects of this whole thing. You might even learn something from it.

[There's a slight delay between the first half and the second. First you hear the tinkling of a music box as it plays a few select notes before the lid is closed, and the tune is cut off]
So~ What would you say is the best way to go about telling someone how you feel~
[Confident tone ensues]
Not that I personally need the advice, I'm just curious as to what you all have to say. Hmm~ but it may be difficult to answer without a proper setup... so.. hypothetically speaking:
Say that you had been talking to someone for a long time, grew to have a genuine respect for them and became good friends. Then, later... you found you were experiencing certain feelings that seemed to go beyond those expected in a normal friendship. You had decided to keep it to yourself for the time being, unsure of how the other party felt.. but then they gave you a gift and it wasn't a special occasion. How would you interpret this scenario? The gift could have been just a friendly gesture, but let's say it was very special. Something they made themselves. Does this indicate any sort of.. reciprocal feelings? How would you proceed?
[This is all about research! Cough cough]
