The Great Hall is looking it's fabulous best, richly decorated in all the House colours. There's a buffet-style banquet laid out with all the food you could possible wish for (literally, that is how you can order), a dance floor, a stage for the entertainment and perhaps a little impromptu karaoke as the night wears on. Dozens off tables are scattered around the area, each with a little magical goodie bag with a name stiched on it, holding a gift that the recipient will find personally tailored to them - no matter where you sit, you'll find your own bag.
The Headmaster and Headmistress will each say a few words of welcome, a thank you for coming if you will, before running off stage to stop their two children from murdering each other under the buffet table. With that done, let the festivities begin!
