SPELLS
Because we don't expect players to know all about the Harry Potter world, nor do we intend them not to expand it to their own interests, we allow characters to submit their own spells and potions! Please keep in mind, by submitting you are keeping it open to all other members to use if they please. Player-submitted spells can be found HERE, potions can be found HERE.
Submit a Spell or Potion
Spell Name: Example Charm / Example Potion Spell Type: Charm / Potion Incantation / Ingredients: Exampellio / List of Ingredients Description: The Example Charm is thought to have been created in 1823 by Adormingus Rouge, a French wizard with a penchant for explaining things. The sole purpose of this spell is to show people how things should be done. It appears on parchment as a block of text with directions to be followed to make things easier for everyone involved. It is a spell that is easily learned, though it tends to backfire when cast by those who have difficulty with rationality and logic. / The Example Potion turns people blue for approximately twenty-eight hours.
MAGICAL CREATURES There are thousands of creatures in the magical world of Harry Potter, but surely you couldn't be expected to remember them all! So we provide you with an easy reference, along with the ability for players to submit creatures found within their character's canon, or ones they've made up! Player-submitted creatures can be found HERE.

Creature Name: Example Beast Series: Original Beast Location: Rainforest; South Africa Rarity: Critically endangered Description: The Example Beast was thought to have gone extinct several hundred years ago, but a small colony was recently found in the rainforests of South America by the explorer wizard, Lyntonwald Berryman IV. The Example Beast is a speedy, tree-dwelling mammal with green fur, a monkey-like tail, and six arms. It feeds on flies, fruits, and some flowers, and grows to be about the size of a large orange. The creature was hunted to near-extinction for its ear tufts, which were often used in potions to aid in the hair regrowth of balding men.

Artifact/Item Name: Example Artifact Series: Original Artifact Rarity: Critically endangered Description: The Example Artifact is a magical, rune-etched bracelet invented in 1906 by an unknown witch, which, when worn, enables the user to accurately and helpfully give examples and explanations in any possible situation. Due to their unattractiveness and the fact that the platinum they are made from is rather expensive, these bracelets are not particularly common. Because of a possible side effect involving Withered Hand Syndrome, demand for them is also not very high.
