So I'm seeing a lot of outrage towards FOX and them not airing 13 episodes of Dollhouse. Apparently the situation is that the studio made 14 episodes, the original pilot and 13 more. Dollhouse? It's still up in the air, but I've heard good things about the possibility of it getting renewed via rogueslayer452's journal. The final episode getting aired, that is contingent on whether or not it gets renewed.

No, I'm pretty sure they only ordered thirteen. The original pilot was what brought the episode count up to 13, but since they scrapped that, there's only 12 episodes. Originally, the finale was episode 13, but now obviously, it's 12. That's apparently like, straight from people inside Fox, so.

I'm really not worried. Part of the contract Whedon signed with Fox is that they had to air all the episodes, so.

That's not what I'm hearing in the article I linked... So it's all one big mess, apparently.

It's really hard discussing the contents of the article without giving away spoilers, heh. The most I think I can say there is 14 episodes of Dollhouse out there and 12 of them are being aired by FOX for sure. One of them definitely won't, that's the original pilot. There's one whose fate is undecided.
