So for those of you who haven't already heard, the assistant debate coach at GHS was arrested for sexting a student. I don't really remember the last time a news story was this entertaining for me. yeah, i sort of knew him. i avoided him though, because i spent my time hanging out with the non-creepy CX male half of the team. he did LD, obvs. things i remember: he dated jess barnes for a really long time and was like sort of horrible and controlling to her? and, bee would try to be nice to him and he would always seem to make it awkward? and, he was pretty arrogant. so for once, although i tend to feel icky when people's lives are ruined by age-of-consent laws, i'm going to chalk this up to a victory of the justice system.

oh man, that blows for jess barnes. I'd hate to look at the TV one day and see my ex boyfriend's face next to the word pedophile. wait, maybe this has already happened...

EPIC POST. my senior year of high school I was in a theater production class. One day, we come to class to find out that our theater teacher, Mr. Jones, was arrested for having sexy times with a male student. then, we found out that he was on FUCKING SUICIDE WATCH because he tried to hang himself with his underwear. To make matters worse, his wife was the photojournalism teacher and they had two small kids. happily, i'm friends with the boy it happened to and he is functioning normally.

In other news...you come to Boston in a week! so pumped. i've just hit some hard financial times so maybe we can do things on the cheap? fun, of course. bananas, even. but cheap?
