Speaking of FOEs, I have been playing Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard lately. I'm approaching the point where I quit EO1, but I mostly quit EO1 because I was so eager to play using EO2's new classes and skills and junk. It seems to be all around better than EO1, except that they took away some of the better skills from the main dudes. Medics lost their broken Immunize skill, Protectors their Defender skill, and Troubadours their TP Regen (Relax?) skill. The new classes make up for it though. I'm just hoping the next installment has some kind of fist-user. I don't think I'll quit this one so early.
I have also been playing Luminous Arc 2, which is all around better than LumiArc1. The gameplay is pretty much the same, but I am disappointed at how they nerfed the Force Skills. They used to be AoE style attacks that did pretty awesome damage, but now they're just single-target moves that do pretty awesome damage. The characters are what puts it above the first installment for me. They still seem a bit amateur-ish, but not as bad as LumiArc1's. And it has the Rosetta Rosso gang, which I love. They have an awesome theme, and their leader is a tsundere.. And they are all snappily-dressed.
Game stuff aside, I might have a place all to myself within the next year or so. It's kind of scary when I think about it. I knew I'd have to move out someday and make it on my own, but I didn't expect it to happen to soon. So much to think about.. And I still have to decide on what I am going to study for a living. Well, at this point I guess I'm going into Neuroscience no matter what, but Grad school is a different story. I also have finals coming up in 2 weeks, and I need to preserve my A-streak through that. I guess I should take care of that before I think about other stuff.
