I just got a compliment on my phone voice. Yay! The member/patient said that my voice was pleasant and sounded calm and reassuring. This makes me feel warm and fuzzy :-D

Well, I think that your phone voice at EHS/CSS was probably influenced by the fact that you hated everything about the job. You don't (as far as I know) hate everything about this job, so it makes it easier to keep your voice pleasant.
But yes, it is definitely a good thing - calling in for anything can be nerve-wracking, and when it involves your own mental health I'm sure it's very helpful to have a friendly voice on the other end of the phone.
