I'm exhausted right now, but I just can't seem to find the common sense to sleep. Things have gotten really jumbled around here as of late. So Christmas has come and gone, and I'm quite sad that it's over already. It and the few days surrounding it involve things I look forward to all year long-- Utica, not working, no class, eating and sleeping to my heart's content, etc... It was pretty good this year. So I've learned that sleeping well is a skill that I'm just currently lacking. Bedtime has made its way to around 7, 8, 9 am. So, I might just stay up all night and see where that gets me. Maybe I'll be tired tomorrow night if I do ( Read more... )

And... it's just about the last week of school. Classes end Wednesday. I have two finals on Tuesday (in-class), as well as a paper and some sort of log due. Then Wednesday holds an oral presentation on the thinkings of a lovely French philosopher, and then, any time before the 13th, a short paper on the presentation. And I'm back from Thanksgiving Break, and it went by pretty quickly. It seems that this semester is getting increasingly frustrating. There's just too much damn work to do and too much pressure to do it perfectly. Grad school can kiss my ass... but not really, because I need it too much to write it off.
