Ah….my birthday is fast approaching...and I can already tell that things have not changed. Sheer bad luck seems to be the reoccurring theme from year to year. The crowning glory of this terrible luck was on my 21st birthday when I was dumped by my boyfriend of three years immediately upon arrival at his home early that day

Ohh hey, I just bought an ice cream maker today, you can borrow it if you want..

I'm always wary about those ice-cream makers. Some of them just seem so difficult to operate...or the outcome is just so-so. You'll have to let me know how it goes for you. I would like to give it a try sometime. I have a whole lot of ice-cream recipes I would like to experiment with. ;)

Oh the one I bought looked nice because it doesn't require ice and salt like several older types do. It claims to make the mixture poured in into icecream in about 30 minutes and was $200 cheaper than the other one next to it. The only hard part is making the mixtures properly and making sure to leave the insert bowl in the freezer before use.

I also picked up the Williams-Sonoma Ice Cream book (I tell you...it's better than porn!). A co-worker saw the machine and book and said she has to drop by and use it. And you want to use it, so now i'm just thinking I should totally have an ice cream party. I see you with a pink grapefruit sorbet...

I wish I knew you in person, because then maybe I could make some sort of happy contribution to your birthday, if it was nothing but a phone call or something cheesy of the sort.

My birthday is less than a month away, and it's the big 21st...but I have no idea if anyone will even remember it or want to celebrate with me.

Well, I know how stress can be...don't want to get into it, but as the Monty Python line goes...Anyway, once again I am between jobs and this roller coaster aspect of my life wearies me. It is small comfort that others are suffering the same boat...

Yes...I too have a bit of fashion plate in me for all my nerdiness...I'm investing over $200 in a Dr. No/Evil style villain suit custom tailored. I also have a limited edition DAWN figure by my beside as well. So I am glad to finally hear from you, my gorgeously cute friend and muse! (huggy hug hug) Have fun settling in in the new dwelling!
