I just got back from Fairie Fest yesterday. My rat club always sets up a booth there for educational purposes. It is one of my favorite events to do

We put one on a ferret at the fair actually. We were just curious if they would fit. Ferrets are more squiggly then rats though....if they really wanted out of something, they can get out.

Yeah...it is really a unique festival. The pics don't do it justice. John didn't take enough pics of people in the costuming. Some of the people who go there wear the most eloborate outfits....it is really something to see.

i guess they are males,
because ive only had females.

Males tend to be a lot larger then females. They are also a bit calmer and more likely to sit still for long periods of time. That is why we use males as our demo animals. They are easier for kids to hold. ;)
