For that last comment, im going to have to argue that and say if they were overrated then why have they won 3 championships in the last 4 years? its detroits year ill give you guys that.

no it's the simple fact that the Lakers were a heavy favorite and the Pistons were a 6-1 shot to win the Finals. If LA was so good, they should easily be able to handle nothing more than an "Eastern Conference" team.

pargoff, you said that ur update was better than mine...but here are your flaws:

Bryant- 8 out of 25 FG (not 6-22)

That helped Detroit withstand an assault by O'Neal, who also had playoff highs of 36 points (not 29 points)

it was a good summary...but get the facts straight. at least mine's accurate..i got all this info from NBA.com
