garden state. so good. real, honest, imperfect, beautiful. soundtrack, amazing, captivating almost tantalizing. if you know me, then you know the next time i see garden state i may hate the movie, but i will still love the soundtrack. for this reason, i think i may never watch garden state again. i want it to remain unblemished in its own form in ( Read more... )

wow- my opinion on garden state is 100% congruent with what you wrote. there was definitely that unperfect aspect to it that was so subtle i didn't know if anyone else caught it--and it enhanced the movie all the more!
the soundtrack definitely destroys all. simon and garfunkel: all i gotsta say.
i'm glad to know you liked it. i feel similar: i don't like to see most movies more than once. i actually saw this one twice because friends were going the second time, and you get more out of it. but sometimes,they're too good to be run over again.

ya, so i saw it a second time moments after i wrote that :) haha. but for the same reason, i wanted to be there when someone saw it for the first time. and i loved it... more so and havent stopped listening to the soundtrack until this morning, but i already miss it :) but its going in my head without the first and last track.
