His heart began to throb with a kind of ardor that was like panic in its intensity.
I don’t remember if this line was there before, but I could not love this line more. Such a great way to describe what he was feeling in that moment.

“Jack,” she said coaxingly, somehow managing to sound matter-of-fact at the same time, “Do you want to have sex now?”
:D I just love how Juliet this line is. Not only what she said but the way you’ve described the way she said it is so flawless.

“Lying here, giving you medical explanations when we could be-
I really liked this because I could just imagine that Juliet would explain her motivation for choosing that position, but I could just image that as a doctor as well, Jack would be very clinical about it too, agreeing with what she said and then they would get to the sex.

He swallowed convulsively, almost glad for the condom: the hot, silky feel of her around him was dizzying, all the blood in his body seeming to have abandoned his brain at once in pursuit of that one throbbing, aching point ( ... )

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it, especially from the standpoint of character-- I was striving pretty hard not only to make this hot, but kind of loving and trusting and slightly dorky/awkward at the same time, hoping it would be true to both characters. I love the hot!amazing!sex!right!now! genre as much as the next girl but I really wanted to do something different here.

And thanks for your advice re: seriousness. I've been batting around some ideas for the ending, but I wasn't sure whether it was too soon to take it where...well I guess it's pretty obvious where I'm going to take it!
