This is possibly one of the saddest, most pathetic, most melodramatic "kiddie" movie I have ever seen. It's roughly ten minutes of teeth-rotting sweetness and frolicking fairy children (okay, maybe not the latter, but you do have frolicking lambs in a field of flowers), and then the rest of the movie is death, "why meeeee?!," hell, and OMG Woe

I watched that movie over and over and over and over when I was little. Mom started to think something was wrong with me.

Seriously, though, you liked that movie as a kid? It would have given me nightmares.

I'll admit that Chirin is cute as a little lamb, but... when he started "swimming" all over through the wool on his mother's body... that was just a little much. XD
