Pittsburgh Pride 2012

Every year on the last day of the Arts Festival, the city holds a gay pride parade. I've lived here my whole life and yet I've never been to it, so I finally decided to venture down, since the parade was yesterday afternoon. Half the city was blocked off for the event, between the streets the booths and vendors were on, the area the parade itself

Looks like such fun! That is the second time today someone has said something about pissing in Cheerios, I have never heard that expression before.

It really was. :) Glad I went!

LOL, its just a goofy expression that can mean a few things. In this instance, its kind of the same as "raining on someone's parade"- trying to bring everyone down, being negative, etc. I've also heard it being said to people who are being grumpy, or are in a bad mood for no reason. "Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?" xD

Screw them indeed! They definitely didn't put a damper on anything- 2 people are easy for several hundred to totally ignore, after all. x) It really was a fun time, I'll have to go back next year.
