Rereading my entry from a couple of days ago, I'm already cringing that I thought David would ask me to move to Dubai with him. But, a little over a month ago, he did ask me to move in with him, and he suggested moving together to another country on a couple of occasions--first the US or Canada and then Bermuda

You're doing the right thing, and I'm proud of you. I'm glad you got mad at Chris, and I'm you see that his problems are HIS and not yours.

I've gotten through weekends like this in the past by making a point of doing all the little things around the house that I always wanted to do, but always put off. Cleaning out closets, watching horrible movies, learning to knit, practicing meditation, rearranging furniture, etc. Knitting especially, because you can do nothing for hours, but come away with something to show for it.

You're doing the right thing, and some day you will thank yourself. Honest.

I feel like you. It sucks. I keep telling myself to FIND friends. It's just not as easy as it seems.

Do you have other things you've been wanting to try out? Have you looked on meetup.com to see if there are some group things going on this weekend that you might like to do? I think this would be good because you'd be spending time with a lot of people who share your same interests...although I totally understand if you don't want to meet more people, I have been living in Denver for almost 2 months and have not made a single effort to make friends.

I also agree with letmeburyem about the knitting thing...I love knitting, it takes my mind off things and I can do it while I watch crap TV or something like that.
