Greetings fellow LJers! I'm sitting here making an entry, my first in weeks. My normal routine when I log in to LJ has been to read up on my friends' pages and then post something. I won't tell you what his present it, but I have a sneaky suspicion he'd like to tell you, possibly in a visual format.

We go to pick up our pizza and while we're walking in SPK notices a sign on the window: "Carry-out Special: Two Large 1-topping pizzas for $14.99." Hmm.
Actually, the carry-out special at Papa John's was "Buy 1 Large, 1 Topping for $6.99" and you later calculated it for two. Silly lad!

Perfect timing! Less than 12 hours after you wrote this comment, I got my reply from Papa John's. It was short enough to include here:

"Dear Valued Papa John's Customer;

Thank you for contacting us. I have forwarded your concerns to the appropriate people for review and follow up. I apologize for the disappointment and again thank you for the feedback.

Hopefully there will be a real response following this one, but I doubt it.

Hooray! A post!

Here's my funny PJ story. david_itman and I order from the same PJ all the time, but once we tried to order from that store, but we accidently called the wrong store. When we got to the store to pick up our pizza, they had no idea who we were, and we figured out what must have happened. The manager asked us if we came there all the time, and we said yes. Then, he said he would make us our order for free! So, apparently if you're stupid, it gets you free food! :D

What? SPK napping the whole day?! How unusual for him. :) Funny that you mentioned the pizza deals. Seems like you have had such luck in the past.
