We went to the fair yesterday too! david_itman had never been to the fair, and I had never been to an Indiana fair (but many, many fairs in Ohio), so it was fun to introduce him to all the sights and smells. (I also made a salt water taffy convert!)

Salt water taffy is lovely. I'm glad you made a convert. The goats in the petting zoo area were my favorite. Also, draft horses are HUGE! I had no idea, only having seen them from a good distance previously. Walking through their stables was sorta scary, but they appeared to be gentle giants.

What was your favorite fair food other than the taffy?

Thanks. It's wonderful to actually have a room to lounge in without feeling crowded.

Good job guys, if only there were a way to help me move here at Cali. Oh well. I am curious to see the posted results of the N64 scoreboard. Was there shrilling involved? :)

We didn't keep track exactly, but we each had our share of humbling experiences. Oh, I do remember one of SPK's. Mines (proximity, I think) in the Basement. Final score:

Andrew 10
Steve -1

Yup, that one was fun ;)

I will admit that squealnakedcatj did win the majority of our Goldeneye games, but I tended to make them all close. I got the "-1" that one particular round because I was TOO good at placing mines -- I kept spawning and hitting my own stuff! *sigh* At least I whooped some ass at Mario Party 3.

That you did! He overcame ticklemerisi's 3 star handicap and Mario's "random" luck (read: computer bias) to attain the final victory. It was like he snatched victory from the snapping jaws of a pirhana plant.

On the up side for me, I reaffirmed my love of Proximity Mines. Rematch?
