Great news!  My Aunt has made a near-full recovery, which the doctors said was highly unlikely, given her condition and all the many courses that healing from meningitis can take.  God saw fit to heal her and hopefully this will be a clear sign of His intervention to those in the family who are not Christians

Glad to hear things are going well, especially with your aunt. I was interested to read your account of the race -- as you well know, I used to live in Indy, but never had any desire to go to the big event. Now, reading this, I am wondering if I missed out. Like you said about your previous impressions, I always thought watching cars go round and round would be utterly boring. Maybe we can plan to go together in the future!

ticklemerisi, her parents and I are planning to return next year for sure. My brother-in-law and his girlfriend will probably join us again too. Additionally, schnibbles and her fiancee are thinking seriously about joining us. Last but not least, mom and Roy expressed an interest as well. So yeah, it'll be a big group and you'd be entirely welcome to join us. Tickets are about $80.00, so start plunking your nickels and dimes in a jar and it'll be there before you know it!
