Cartridges: Making a Case for Bullets

The invention of the metallic cartridge marked the beginning of the modern era of firearms, and so, I feel it is the logical place to start. Generally speaking, a cartridge, also called a round, consists of a metallic case which contains a bullet, powder, and a primer. I should clarify that this specifically applies to rifle and pistol ammunition
